End of course Review

Another 3 weeks.

Another 6 more days to the end of the Casino Course, and im still poundering over what should I do from now till the opening of IR. Hoping to earn some money and work something related to the Casino line, hard to find sia.

After touching the cards and chips for almost 6 months, I would like to share some experience for those whom which to know more about the casino games. Allow me to introduce 6 games; 3 Major games and 3 fun games(next Post).

Major Game 1: Roulette

As a player:
Difficulty to learn: 3stars
Winning Opportunity: 2stars

I say:
Not a bad game to learn, well you need not know how the game runned. Basically the dealer will spin the ball and just pray that the numbers that you have bet will open. But its not easy, cause theres 37 numbers on the layout. Even money bettings (outside bets) such as red/black, big/small, even/odd gives you a 50/50 chance of winning. Higher chance of winning = lower payout rate, basically paying only 1 to 1.

As a dealer:
Difficulty to learn: 4stars
Dealing the game: 4stars

I say:
1 of the tougher games to learn, knowing the payout rate such as straight up, split and square bets is a must. Counting the mountainous winning bets must be fast and accurate as well. But everything comes perfect after much practice. I struggle in the beginning, but feeling comfortable now.

As a supervisor:
Difficulty to supv: 5stars

I say:
Not that tough if theres no player tracking. Note:player tracking is to track how well a high roller plays on the table. Ive tried supervising 2 tables at a time without tracking the players. Holy god, its not easy, i will like puking after the practise.

Major Game 2: Baccarat

As a player:
Difficulty to learn: 3stars
Winning Opportunity: 4stars

I say:
Its a game that you see in those movies. Well, its also some sort of 50/50 chance of winning. Its either the player marker wins or the banker markers win. Else it will be a tie. Chances of a tie games comes frequently as well. But good thing is the dealer doesnt "makan" your money when its a tie game.

As a dealer:
Difficulty to learn: 4stars
Difficulty to deal: 3stars

I say:
You will have to know 2 important things, first your 3rd card tableu rules. When to draw? and when not to. Second is your banker 5% tax. Keep practising this 2 things by heart and you will be able to deal well. Also not to forget the BIG BACCARAT (BB) which is using house differential rules, which gives dealer more headache, but normally, high rollers Big Baccarat only allows experience dealers.

As a supv:
Difficulty to supv: 4stars

I say:
The challenge comes in real hard during BB. You need to focus and know the game well.

Major Game 3 : Black Jack

As a player:
Difficulty to learn: 3stars
Winning Opportunity: 3stars

I say:
Im sure plenty of people knows how to play this game, but please do not get shock when you found out that the gaming rules differ from the 1 you played at home. Holding 2 aces is not a "banban" Theres no such thing in the casino.

As a dealer:
Difficulty to learn :2stars
Difficulty to deal: 2stars

I say:
Not very diffcult, just know what type of option you can give your players by looking at their hands card. Keep practising and BJ shall not be a game that gives you headache. But, watchout. Lots of talking from the dealer shall be heard here. So, drink more water.

As a supervisor:
Difficulty to supv : 3stars

I say:
Not as bad as the previous 2 games. Supv a BJ table is heaven. Tracking the players is easy as well.
